Car Alarms: Help with viper alarm, honda accord, support question

I bought a 1996 Honda Accord with a Viper 5900 auto start alarm to it.My mom just accidentally washed the remote while the alarm was on lock.Is there a way i can disarm the alarm so i can start the car with the key and do i have to buy another remote.
