Car Alarms: 2001 Lincoln Continental Alarm, lincoln service, lincoln continental

Question
QUESTION: Had on line chat with you 2 days ago re subj. Lincoln.  I followed your disarming procedure to the tee.  You agreed.  But now can't unlock car with key without alarm sounding off.  You suggested same procedure for front passenger door.  Problem is, there's no green / purple wire on pass side.  What to do??

ANSWER: Then it's off to Lincoln for evaluation & repair.
My expertise is disabling working alarms to be
able to use after market systems. If this fix
did not work, yours may have other issues.
I have no more to suggest

Sorry.

QUESTION: I feel like the guy who fell off the cliff and called up to Heaven for help as he hung on to a twig sticking out of a rock.  The answer came, "Let go and trust me."  The cliff-hanger, frustrated, replied...."Is there anybody else up there?"

The first guy I spoke with was certain there was a corresponding wire in the passenger door.  You've obviously has this problem before.  Could I be doing something wrong?

Answer
I'm the same, and ONLY "guy" here, and
like i said, if that did not work, I don't have another fix.
It's not bring belligerent sir, it's simply that I don't
have another idea to offer when it comes to a manufacturers
OEM alarm. Sorry about that.

Try my forum.  www.INSTALLSUPPORT.com
or contact Lincoln service dept. and get thry're
take on it.

I simply bypass factory alarms here when adding after market
devices according to the notes I have in my database.
That is the extent of knowledge I have on this car.
