Car Alarms: CAR ALARM TROUBLE, 2003 nissan maxima, nissan maxima

Question
I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima equipped with a MVP#825 alarm.  When I got home and lock my car the alarm worked perfectly but a few minutes later the remote continues to beep excessively.  When I inspected the remote it appears to be resetting itself.  I opened the remote to clean it gently and nothing seems to be wrong.  When I change the battery, the remote appears normal.  But when I press the buttons NOTHING HAPPENS!!!  My car is now armed and I can't use it because the alarm is active.  I also have a remote starter along with this alarm.  I'm frustrated and don't know what to do.....HELP!!!!!
