Car Alarms: 2007 envoy, gm vehicle, remote starters

hello and thanks for your help
I have a 2007 envoy and the dealer said I can not have a remote starter installed in this vehicle. it has all the denali options except the engine but was not "factory prewired" for remote start
I live in new England and it would be nice to have a remote starter. is the dealer correct? are some cars unable to have remote starters?

You have been misinformed ma'am.
No surprize though, since car dealers
have little to no clue what they are talking about.
when it comes to after market, non factory applications.

To do remote start in this vehicle
The IM-PLJX - GM Self Learning (ALL TYPES)
Passlock Override module would allow for that.

IM-PLJX is an auto learning override module designed to bypass all GM vehicles equipped with Passlock I , Passlock II, VATS & the new style PAsslock found in the Envoy, Saturn Ion, GM Canyon, Colorado, Cobalt, Pursuit & 95% of all post 1996+ GM vehicle equipped with

We have'nt found a car yet we could not get around as far as
starting remotely with the exception of certain manual transmission
vehicles.
