Car Alarms: 02 explorer, best bet, shut down

Question
my explorer died out and wont start.it wont turn over, the theft light keeps flashing   what can i do? or do i have to tow to a dealer?

Answer
At this point, a tow and inspection/evaluation
is needed to see why this happened, and if
a simple reset correction done by they're
diagnostic machine will apply.

If not, it's on to disabling the factory system,
which may be difficult without knowing just
why it's in the "shut down" state to begin with.

Best bet is to have Ford give it the once over.

Good luck.
