Car Alarms: auto mate aftermarket sytem, 2001 dodge stratus, dodge stratus

i recently purchased a 2001 dodge stratus that came with 2 auto mate remotes. neither remotes work even after replacing the batteries. i think they just need re programmed. does anyone know how to do this? please help!
