Car Alarms: Code Alarm does not start car, resident technicians, 2007 ford explorer

We have a 2007 Ford Explorer with a Code Alarm system installed at the dealership.  This is the third car this has happened to us on.  When you press the auto start button, there is about a two or three second delay, the cars electrical system activates (radio, air lights) but the car does not start.  Ford gave us the steps to follow to get it back to normal on our previous cars, but those steps are not working.  Sometimes, it seems as if you press unlock, lock, then start, the car will start, but other times it works.  It is in some type of weird mode that we can't get it out of.  Can someone help?

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
