Car Alarms: 95 toyota camry car alarm, valet mode, toyota camry

Question
Hello! I bought my car just a month or so ago and the previous owner put in a car alarm. I lost my remote to unlock/ and turn on/turn off my alarm to my car. But i still have my key and whenever i put my key in and move around in my car the car alarm goes off. My question is how do I disarm the alarm in the meantime while i find my remote or replace it? The car alarm is located below the driver seat and there is a light thats to the right of the steering wheel by the stick. Also after the alarm went off three times it finally stopped and I even closed and locked my doors opened the car and started the car without the remote (but again after the alarm went off three times...I was able to drive from 2 places without the alarm going off...but I then I got stuck at Subway and my dad had to pick me up...

Thank you sooo much.

Answer
To try to disarm it,
look under the dash area for a button or,
a toggle switch. When you locate it, turn on the
ignition key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.=VALET/OVERIDE

This stops the alarm except for the keyless
entry if installed. The next step is to
either remove the alarm or, try to identify,
and get new remotes for it.

But once in Valet mode, it will allow the car
to start and operate like there was no
alarm at all. Repeat steps to put into user
mode.

Let me know how it goes.
