Car Alarms: Help with Pursuit alarm, new toyota corolla, resident technicians

I bought a brand new Toyota Corolla in 1994, which came with a Pursuit Model PRO 92BT alarm.  I still have the directions, which explains how to program transmitters and additional transmitters.  It also includes a remote door lock/unlock feature.  I need directions on how to silence the exit/entry alarm but still keep the alarm activated if someone were to try and break into the car (I somehow did this once before, but I recently had it serviced and they somehow reset it).  Also, I need to know how to turn the alarm system completely off but leave the remote door lock/unlock feature on.  Thanks!
