Car Alarms: Acura Integra GS 1997 remote door lock problem, acura integra gs, remote keyless entry

Hi,
For some reason I can't lock the doors with my remote keyless entry. But the alarm did initiated when I pressed
the lock button on the remote.
Manual door lock is working fine.

Do you think there's a problem with the transmitter that
handle the doors lock?

I've heard of this before, and I think it's the
car itself holding you back.

If this is a factory system,
I'd have it looked at at Acura to determine if
it is a factory issue. The vehicle may be keeping
the mechanism from locking on remote command for
safety reasons, like an open door circuit etc...

If you can not change this, they need to look it
over.
