Car Alarms: 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, pontiac grand prix, factory security

Hi there,  I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix with a factory security system.  Last week my car was vandalized and they damaged the drivers side door handle.  I cannot put my key in the door to turn it.  Today the security system has finally desided to kick in and I cannot start my car.  Would the damaged door have anything to do with the security system in this car or would it be a separate issue?  If it is a separate issue, how do I get my car started?

Same issue, and the door needs to be repaired
for it to be right again.

But the PASSLOCK system will need either GM to
repair/reset, or get a bypass module to eliminate it
all together.
