Car Alarms: Car wont start after deep freeze, button spring, door locks

Question
I have a Prestige APS2K4MS alarm system in my 2003 Honda Civic.  I bought the car used 3 years ago and it never came with the manual.  It has been extremely cold this past week (-51 with the windchill) and car would not start with the remote.  It warmed up yesterday to -10 but the car still wouldn't start with the remote.  I located the red toggle switch under the dash and tried turning it off and then back on with no luck.  I also have a push button (spring loaded) right behind the toggle switch as well?  When I try to start the car with the remote, it does turn over but will not fire up.  However with the key it starts no problem.  Does it sound like a wiring problem or is there a way I can reset it.  The remote door locks work fine, just won't start with remote.  Any ideas?  I noticed this same problem the last couple of winters when it was very cold but once it warmed up a bit, the car would start no problem with the remote.  Should I just wait until it warms up even more?

Answer
It's likely that the system's tach wire
is not connected, and the remote starter
is not seeing a regulated rpm level in
extremly cold conditions. It appears
to be current or "smart" sensing.

Simply put, it can be fixed to start each
and every time if the tach wire is done,
and the system programmed to read tach sensing
for colder areas. This is essential.

Take it to an installer that understands
this to have the work reset. Sould not
be too much.

Good luck with it Ms. Cindy, stay warm!
