Car Alarms: Prestige glitch, prestige alarm, resident technicians

Question
I have a Prestige alarm/remote start.  I don't know which model but the fob
has a blue lock button, a blue unlock button, a green start button and a "1"
and "2" buttons.
Out of the blue it got glitchy. It causes the dash lights to go out when I step
on the brake after a remote or keyed start.  After it starts, I can hit the
remote start button twice and the dash lights come on but go out again after I
hit the brake pedal.  
Also, when this happens the dummy light for the brake comes on. It goes out
when the dash lights are on..

I've tried combinations of playing with override enabled and disabled but the
dash lights still go out either way.

Odd. Ok sounds like a bad remote.
But just guessing. It also does
not seem to react to the valet.

On this one, the best thing here is
to go to my installers forum at
www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project. I don't know enough
on this system to advise you properly.
