Car Alarms: 1993 toyota celica gt, toyota celica, oem factory

Question
my daughter was installing amp in her car and alarm went off. We bought car second hand without owners manual.  Did not know car had antitheft on it, discovered it by the alarm going off.  Car will turn over but will not start. Acts like it is not fireing. It is getting fuel because you can smell it. I was not there(at work) when it happened.  They justed diconnected battery. I reconnected battery, but car will not start.

Answer
This car does not show an OEM/factory alarm system.
And an after market system would not even
try to crank over if equipped with starter kill,
so I think there may be something else here.

Inspect the fusable links not only under the
dash, but the master fuses under the hood to
see if one was burnt during her install.

Good hunting.
