Car Alarms: 1999 toyota camry, toyota camry, car doors

Question
At some point, a repair person disabled the option for our remote device to lock and unlock the car doors. The remote activates the alarm system, but will no longer lock and unlock. Any ideas?

There is a harness coming from the alarm that
would have 2 wires going to the door locks.
This harness may have been cut or unpluged
during the service you were having done?

I would start an inspection there since the
alarm does operate properly, sans the
lock/unlock function. Odd.
Might simply need replugging.
