Car Alarms: Installation of Alarm Starter combo, viper 5900 alarm, optonline net

Question
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with power locks and windows, no factory or after market keyless entry. I am looking to install a Viper 5900 Alarm/ starter combo, I have been told by one place that I require the keyless entry door modules in order for them to apply the keyless entry setting that is on the alarm. Can you please let me know if this is right, and roughly how much I should be looking at to purchase them and have them installed. I live in Canada and would appreciate any links to dealers that I could buy them from.
