Car Alarms: Starter installed/Door lock not working, nustart, remote starter

Question
I have a 2001 Civic Si-G and had a Nustart Nu1000R remote starter installed by a "qualified technican". When installing the starter, he also hooked up the remote door locks. The drivers side works fine, but the passenger door will not lock/unlock using the remote or the switch on the driver's door. When either are triggered, there is a noise coming from inside the door which sounds like the motor trying to lock the door.

The technician says that it's a problem with the motor and nothing to do with the install of the auto door locks. Sounds a little too coincidental to me. We never had any problem with the door locks prior to this install.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Answer
That's what it sounds like to me too.
The installer might have used the incorrect
unlock wire or, it's misconnected somehow.

I'd take it to his competition for inspection
and repair. They'd love the idea of showing
the installer what he did wrong.

But yeah, it's mis wired from the sounds of it.
Inspection and repair is the ticket.

Should be a wire change from one location
to another to correct it.

Let ke know what they discover.
