QuestionI have had trouble with Passlock system and replaced the ignition switch which worked for one year and is again causing frequent problems - not starting until waiting 10 min. If I install a remote car starter will this solve the problem and if so is there specific advice for the purchase or installation of unit? Thanks so much for any words of wisdom.

AnswerIt's nice to have a remote starter sure,
but not really needed to circumvent the
Passlock 2 system.
Passlock is a royal pain in the butt.

This will then take the passlock system out of the equation,
and you might even want to add remote start at that point,
