Car Alarms: 2006 honda Accord dead battery and alarm, resident technicians, honda service

Question
I left my lights on and My battery is completely dead. So I opened it with my key, without pushing the keyless alarm because it wouldn't respond. When I tried to jump my car the alarm went off like crazy so I exited the car, shut the door and pressed the lock and unlock buttons to disable the alarm. It did but then nothing worked at all, not even the charging of the battery. Can anyone tell me what is going on? Please.

Answer
Ma'am, this is suspect as far as an alarm problem.
The way you described it seems more of a
problem with Honda's power system.

It sounds like a bad alternator or
charging system.

On this one, the best thing here is
to go to my installers forum at
www.installsupport.com and see if
my resident technicians there can assist
with this project.

I also suggest you contact the local
Honda service department and discuss
this with them. It may be the alarm,
but sounds more like a fault in Honda's power
distribution setup.

Call them first.
