Car Alarms: Choosing a car alarm, bond james bond, galaxy 5000rs

Question
QUESTION: I came across your site after an intensive search.
Miata.net board is a great help when it comes to yanking the suspension, but not much as far as alarm recommendation.

Without wasting too much of your time, here are the features I'm looking for in one:
Passive arming.
Perimeter sensor.
Relatively small remote.

My Miata has had two break-ins, and the last time my driver side window got busted by some incompoop, who was trying to jimmy the door.

I'd love to hear your recommendations.

ANSWER: I have just the thing you want.
www.pagingalarm.com , plus a 2 stage
microwave motion sensor, makes the
ASTRA 777 the piece I'd offer for this
project.

Can't beat it for this project I think.

Let me know what you think.

QUESTION: Hmm, ok.
But, what about Galaxy 5000RS-2W-1-SP?
Has all of the features of Astra 777, plus adjustable turbo timer (my turbo kit is on its way), plus programming, plus a host of other features that a car/pc geek like me would simply love. :D
Would I sacrifice the smallness of a remote if I were to go with a Galaxy line?

ANSWER: No not really.
The remotes are pretty small already.

The only dif really is you get remote start and
a 5 button carbon fiber backup remote with
the 5000 RS 2W 1 SP piece.

If your Miata is an auto trans version,
this one is a great choice for the money,
sure. Very, Bond, James Bond!

Let me know if I can get you into one,
along with the notes for the Miata.

QUESTION: My Miata is a manual, 1990, with a turbo kit on its way.
I loked for 500-RS-2W-1-SP on your site, but couldn't find it. My best reference comes from ecarsecurity.com, but, apparently, they don't like to answer their phones.
Please, let me know your price with the perimeter motion sensor included.

Just to re-iterate, I'd like the alarm to auto-arm itself, after the ignition has been shut off (after a delay, of course). I want the 2-stage perimeter sensor, so if someone comes even near the car, alarm would first sound a warning, and then go off.
I really don't care about the remote start, but the turbo timer is a nice addition. Actually, the main reason I focused on 5000RS-2W-1-SP was because it seems to be the only one with the adjustable turbo timer.

Checking the options on ecarsecurity, tilt sensor seems like a good addition. Glass sensor seems like double-upping on the perimeter sensor.
"Selectable Engine Run Time", can that be set using a remote? Let's say, once I parked the car?
Since the car is stick, and has no power windows or doors, or remote trunk release, for that matter, I couldn't care less about the remote power unlock options, but, one thing does interest me.
Is it possible to wire "Starter Interrupt Output" into the coil pack lead? That is to say, if my car gets jacked, and I'm left with the remote, as long as the car is in range, I can shut it down?

Thank you for bearing with me. :D

Answer
To answer all of the questions you have,
go direct to Scytek.net and have a look at the
GALAXY 5000 with it's options etc...

I sell that piece here for 129.00
the tilt sensor is 49.95 but I don't advise
going to crazy with sensors since they will
conflict eventually.

Have a read there, and if you want
to place a specific order, write to me

a package for you.
