Question I have an 1988 Toyota Camry and the keypad all of a sudden it not working. I heard a bout something called a keypad disabler system, could you please explain to me what this does, whats it's function. I was looking on this site and cant locate it. I can use all the help you can offer, just my luck the cars inspection is in a few days !! talking about luck.
AnswerYou will need to remove the keypad system if
malfunctioning. I have no quick fix to offer
as these can not be re programmed.
It takes a 4 digit code to bypass, without it,
removal is the only way around it.
