Car Alarms: beeping on toyota corolla 2004, keyless entry system, toyota corolla

Hi, I just purchased a 'Viper 211 HV Keyless Entry System' the guys at best buy couldnt get it to work and i came back the next day and the managers worked on it. When I unlock it and lock it, it is EXTREMELY LOUD and obnoxious. Sounds like the car alarm is going off everytime I unlock/lock it. He said because of the model, thats how it is. Is this true? Or can I just get a normal beep like other cars? Also, but not as important, I told him I'd pay extra so it unlocks just my drivers door first then with another click, it does all doors, but he said this too cant be done (even tho the manual says it can be)
