Car Alarms: Keyless entry for Toyota 4 runner, toyota 4 runner, cause and solution

My keyless entry doesn't work on my 98 Toyota 4 runner, I replaced battery and still I have to manually lock & unlock my doors.

Answer
Sorry, but without inspection, I can't suggest
a reason as to why it's not operational.
Please take it to an after market alarm shop
to evaluate and determine the cause and solution.
