Car Alarms: chapman problems, jlk, c board

Question
i have a chapman in my 98 ram 1500, FCC#GOH-717-JLK. replaced a blown relay wired into receiver and system still not operating. power verified to the new relay but relay swithch wont open when connected to system and ergo truck wont start or unlock doors. can the receiver be blown? can it be tested and/or replaced?

Send it to Chapman for bench testing and circuit board
repair if under warranty.

Can not tell from here, but the likelyhood
of a mis connected power polarity issue
is usually what would pop a C board.
Or use of an output wire without the
bump of a relay could do it too.

Wish I had more for you, but it's always
best to set it up on a diagnostic system
from the company that produced it.
