Car Alarms: Car alarm., smell of gas, car alarm

I am not sure of the type of alarm system I have in my car, but it has the python remote, if that helps any. Yesterday I was parked, and I went to pop my trunk using the aux button like normal, and it beeped at me and the LCD highlighted the trunk and then the engine, and then if I pushed anything it would just switch between the two.. That isnt the problem, now my car is not running. It will not start. It is like the car is on lockdown, it will not start, and there is no smell of gas, so it doesnt flood. Everything is working properly, the fuel pump engauges when I turn the key, it turns over fine, there is fire in the plugs, plenty of gas in the tank. So I do assume it is the alarm locking it down.
