Car Alarms: Alarm issue, alarmtek, acura integra

my daughters old model acura integra 1995? has been idle for a month. we tried to jump start it and the alarm went off.  we have successfully jump started it before, but this time the alarm went off and we couldn't jump start it. this car has been taken off the road because she's away at school and we want to keep it for her to use next summer.
what do you advise?

Well, ok, please be a bit more specific.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.
