Car Alarms: Car Alarm Ford Escape 2004, aftermarket radio, loud horn

Question
Hi! Recently, to install an aftermarket radio, I disconnected the negative battery terminal. As I was disconnecting it, the alarm went off, and I turned it off by unlocking it in my remote key.
After I was done with the radio installation, I connected the negative terminal, but then the alarm made a couple wierd noises (not like the loud horn sound), and I got in the car (the remote unlocks and locks all the doors), turn the ignition, (the dome lights, the headlights, etc are working), but the car won't start.
The ignition turns to the last step, but no noise, nothing. It just won't start. What shall I do?
Thank you.

Answer
By pulling the radio, you set off the secure loc
anti-theft and PATS immobilizer is now engaged.
You can go to Ford for a reset, or you can get
a bypass module and disable it permanantly.

See the KXO4 PKFORD- IB04 at www.passlock2.com
to get that if you don't have any luck at Ford.

Good luck.
