Car Alarms: Retro-Fit car alarm to a Motorcycle, motorcycle alarms, motorcycle alarm

Question
Is it possible to retro-fit a basic car alarm to an '06 motorcycle (12 Volt battery)? I've read rumors however I'm not sure it was an exaggeration or myth. I have my eye on the DEI Python 460HP, however I can't seem to get a hold of the installation manual.

The void warranty would be worth a lot more than the weak and expensive motorcycle alarms on the market today.

Thanks!

Jeff

Answer
You would need to someone who knows
DEI car alarms. I do not.

Try sales@tampacaralarms.com for
some insight
on this project.

But if really looking for a good
motorcycle alarm, the AUTOPAGE ma200
is a decent choice. 2 way remote
and rated at 500 to 750 feet.

Built in starter kill, shock sensor
horn and optional siren outputs,
and a closed loop trigger to cover
accessories and sadlebags.

Nice piece.

I sell them here for 99.00.

Anyway, it's a good choice
if the retro fit does not
pan out as planned.
