Car Alarms: vw car alarm, vw jetta, vdub

Question
i own a 04 vw jetta.  the alarm keeps going off for no reason at all.  it is driving me and my neighbors crazy.  the horn just starts honking.  i would like to disarm it any information is helpful.  this has been going on for a couple of days and it is only getting worse.

Answer
Ok, this is going to sound like a cop out,
but the one thing you should do with VW alarms
is to contact the service dept. at the local
dealership as to the suggested solution for your
issue.

I own a 1999 Pasat 20 valve Turbo 5 speed.
Have had it for 4 years. I would NEVER install
anything into this car other the GPS tracking
(www.gpsonthenet.com ) because of the finicky
nature of the electronics. I know it sounds
like I am passing the buck, but these
cars are notorious for "ghosts in the machine".

Just not a good car to mess with unless it's done
by the folks at Vdub.

This goes for your car too.

Best way to get your issue resolved, is to call
on Monday for an evaluation of your system.

Just a bit of free advice.

Happy Holidays!
