What color wires an I looking for in the rear tail light harness to connect a backup alarm on a 1980 Taurus

Answer
Don't know the wire persay,
but it's easy to test for it:

Emergency brake ON!

Then key in and on just before cranking,
and now using a simple test light,
check the tail light assembly wires
for they're individual polarity, & then
put gear shift in reverse,
and see which one changes polarity.
Tap it to the wire suggested in your instruction
leaflet there & you have the one needed
for the back up camera you're installing
Then hide the wires and mount the monitor.

Done.
