Car Alarms: Viper 771 Starts Itself, bad brain, nissan pathfinder

I purchased the Viper 771 from Best Buy and had them install it in my 97 Nissan Pathfinder. Ever since I brought it home, when I unlock it with the remote, the stock alarm sounds. Its not like it happens all the time, its like the luck of the draw. More like unlucky I guess. But that's a different issue.

My main issue is that its been starting up spontaneously. There's no pattern to when it happens, it just does. I brought it back to Best Buy and they told me they'd look into it. Other than that, they expect it to be a bad brain. We'll see.
