Car Alarms: remote starter sot working anymore, resident technicians, fcc id

Question
I have a Toyota sienna that  the previous owner had a Pursuit/audiovox prooe4bs system fcc id: elvatoe.  the battery in the remote went dead and i replaced it.  all buttons still function correctly except the remote start button.  If i push it 2x to start the car nothing happens.  I did find the valet switch and reprogrammed the remote but still does not work. What gives?
Also while doing all this I found out that the remote start switch also opens the power side door if I hold it down for @ 4 sec.  I would prefer the option switch to open the door.  Would I have to rewire it so that the wires for the power door are on the 4th channel (option button) of the remote.

with this project.

I unfortunately don't know the
system you are working with to advise
you properly on it's functions,
features or trouble shooting
information. Better to check with a tech
that might.
