Car Alarms: volvo 440 alarm activation issue, resident technicians, volvo 440

i own a volvo 440 se, it`s n regestered. when i arm the alarm with the keyfob after 40 seconds of being armed it goes off. so i want to know if you have any clue to what my problem may be? it`s a manufactured alarm by volvo with immobilizer. for the time being i am having to lock my car using key and unlock with keyfob. please help me if you can. thank you
