QUESTION: your answer sucked. I said it was a stock alarm. My question is, how do I jumpstart the car?

ANSWER: My question was what was the alarm doing?
This car has a car alarm (headlights that flash, horn honks)
it also has an immobilizer that is seperate from the alarm
as an anti theft device that can disable the car when
the power is removed and needs programming, or it could
be an after market piece with a starter kill device installed in which case I needed this info to best evaluate the problem and then provide the anwer to fix the issue.

So it was a reasonable question to ask which system are you dealing with here.

Why so hostle if you are asking a volunteer to help you? You might show a bit of the same respect you expect in return from the person trying to assist you here for free, no?

Makes you just ot want to help the next guy....

QUESTION: OK, now we are getting somewhere. I couldn't even tell if I was speaking to a person because I recieved a stock answer which was the same as some of the examples I read.  The alarm is not aftermarket, the horn honked and I do not think the lights flashed. Thank you very much.

Answer
Hmmm, well ok, but.... geez, ya know?!!

Ok, here's the dealeo,

When you power down the CPU in this car, the immobilizer
code is then wiped. The reader in the ignition
switch is not decyphering the code in the key.
Trouble here is that Acura then needst to reset that.
No eas fix on that one. Sorta like pulling
a radio out of a Honda. You loose the code to use
it immediately. The restting of this immobilizer is only
done at the dealership using the registration and VIN #
to ID the owner. A tow charge and a reprogramming
charge is to be expected.

Now, if the alarm is engaged, and that's all,
then the blue wire in the drivers side
door key cylinder is the key here.

You would ground out this wire
to disengage the OEM system by doing
1 of 3 things:

1. Use the key in the drivers door, turn left
to disarm (ground the blue) then right to unlock.

2. Have the remote for the car alarm and that
would disarm when you press unlock usually.

3. Open the door panel, locate the blue wire at the key switch, splice into it and ground to the body.

Any of these actions would turn off and reset the alarm.

But leaning towards the first option.

That's what you have going on to the best of my
knowledge. I hope this helped more.
