Questionseems my mother's car alarm goes off whenever it wants. I tried the fix you suggested with the valet switch, which for her car is an integrated LED and switch left of the steering column on the dash. The alarm is comprised of the horn with no flashing lights. The alarm goes off with the car off or running. Against my better judgement I disconnected the horn. I hope this is enough info.
AnswerOdd. Well sounds like a ignition sensing
wire. Or, is triggering as if set off
and needs resetting, but just guessing.
