Car Alarms: car alarm for 1997 subaru, car alarm installer, button switch

We have a 1997 subaru with keyless entry but no remote. The lights are flashing and we called the dealership and were told to turn the ignition key on and look under the panel for a blabk button to push to disengage but we cannot find such button. please help

They were discussing the valet/over ride button
for the after market alarm you have there.

But without it, you would need to either get one,
and or, remove the alarm from service.

Sorry, but not a lot you can do without that button/switch.
You can contact a local car alarm installer and have
him install one and reset it. It won't cost much, but
again, without it, your stuck.
