Car Alarms: auto page arlarm, model rf, honda prelude

Question
I bought a 2001 honda prelude from a dealer and the car got an auto page arlarm system model rf-520 but missing the remote so i when online and bought a new transmitter.  After got the remote and follow the instruction to program it but nothing is working.  The red lcd light on my dash never on and i did take to circuit city to have them check out all the wires and cable is good but for some reason the arlarm is like dead.  Can any help or have any ideas?
