Car Alarms: uninstall a viper alarm, acura rsx, passive alarm

I have a 02 acura rsx and when i bought the car it had a viper alarm. I dont want it anymore and want to uninstall it or even just disable the alarm. What my real question is if i disable it will i still be able to use my factory keyless remote and have the factory stock passive alarm?
