Car Alarms: Reprogram a k-9 alarm, transmitter programming, acura integra

Hi, i have a 1997 acura integra and I replace the battery. Now the remote lights up but doesnt activate the alarm. i believe i have to reprogram it using the valet buttom but I dont know the sequence, can you help me?
