Car Alarms: Code Alarm Stayed in Pre-arm State, alarm security system, valet mode

Question
My 2003 Toyota Sienna had Code Alarm security system installed by dealer.  Recently, when I tried to lock my car with the remote, I only heard 1 beep and the Code Alarm indicator light was on (should heard 2 beeps and the light should flash ever second).  I checked all doors to make sure they're locked and changed to valet mode and back.  But no luck.  Please help.  Thanks.
