Car Alarms: Clifford alarm system, clifford alarm system, yellow button

Question
QUESTION: I have a 99 Civic EX that has a Clifford alarm system.  I bought the car 18 months ago and the previous owner did not have the remotes.  There is a two button panel on the dash that when pressed, disables the alarm in the same manner as the remotes would.  Up until a week ago, the alarm was disabled "permanently" (read, it was turned off via some combination of the buttons).  A week ago however, my son got into the car and left the dome light on.  This of course, killed the battery.  When I jumped off the car, the alarm went off.  I was able to disable it with the button combination but not "permanently" disable it as I don't have that code.  I don't know what model alarm system it is but the LED light has a plastic trim piece that says Clifford on it so I assume that it is a Clifford brand alarm.  My question is, do you know how to permanently disarm the alarm again or how to disable the alarm physically?  The alarm has ignition disable (I tried disconnecting it from the battery and everything works except the ignition).

ANSWER: Oooop! You must have
missed the big yellow button on the
ALLXPERTS site. I don't supply that
service. You have the
wrong guy here. I don't
provide support for DEI equipment or they're
clientel. Too many people have been asking
for the service they should be providing, and
I won't do they're job here any longer.

I refer these folks to either my forum
at www.installsupport.com or, I have a
guy at sales@tampacaralarms.com who might be able
to offer some insight. Good guy and he will treat
you right.

Sorry I could'nt be of more service.

QUESTION: I just went through the entire process from www.allexperts.com through getting to this page and I don't see a big yellow button.  I'm sorry if I'm missing something, I just want to know where to go for help.  Thanks for the quick response though!!!

Answer
Sorry you missed it, but I don't assist with
they're clientel, past or present.

The folks at DEI are rather mean and unhelpful
to me, even threatning litigation a couple
of times so I would stop helping they're
clients because of they're own "dealers only"
support policy. Well, I do not work
for them, or support they're technical
services department, so in turn, I let them
field they're own q&a. Nothing personal,
but I get inundated with all of these people
who have issues with a product they sell
and can not get any help from Directed Electronics.

I did supply you with 2 links for assistance however.
Please explore them to get your answers.
