Car Alarms: Removing a viper alarm, starter wire, viper alarm

Question
I read one of your previous articles on how to remove a viper alarm.  I removed one from a 94 Mustang GT.  Like you said, 1 wire was tapped into, i taped that up with electrical tape.  Also, the ignition wire was cut, i connected the 2 ends to repair them.  Here is my problem.  When i turn the key to the on position, the fan in the vehicle kicks on and the rpm gauge reads 4000 rpm but the car isnt even on.  I can not get the starter to engage.  I know that i have removed all aspects of the alarm system.  Should the starter kill relay still be used?  If so, i know that one wire connects to the ignition, there is also a black wire (ground i'm assuming) and an orange wire which connected to the 'brain' of the alarm system.  Not sure what you need to know about the vehicle, but the vehicle is a manual transmission so the clutch has to be in to engage starter.

Answer
If the starter kill relay is still inline
on the white/pink (starter) wire in the steering column
harness, remove it, and butt connect (Yellow type)
the 2 free ends together.

Then it should start. The relay may have been grounding
out the starter wire as it should be when armed. Just
remove it and repair.

Good luck.
