Car Alarms: Truck, chevy silverado, door locks

QUESTION: Hi, I have a 2005 half ton chevy silverado and was wondering if you can but a scytek 5000 RSW in this truck?  It has keyless entry already.  Would i need to get it worked on if I purchased it?

ANSWER: Yes you can with modifications.
You also need a GMDLBP module for the
door locks and a PLJX module for
the passlock bypass to remote start.

I do suggest getting sa professional
on this one yes. Difficult.
