how do i turn off the car alarm so it won't go back on automaticly on my 1999 plymouth voyager, my wife loses the plastic remote thing

You would need the manufacturers user manual to select
what features (passive arming=yours or active arming=
arms only when manually set to do so) you desire.

Since this is different for all alarms, you
will need to identify the system you have
by the FCC ID. # on the back of the remote
if at all possible. If none exsists, only
removal, or valet over ride (see prior posts)
will enable the truck to work properly.
