Car Alarms: flashing lights, hazard lights, oem system

QUESTION: my lights   flash eveytime i open the doors i did diode isolate the door triggers bout it still doesnt work does it got 2 do with the anti theft factory alarm?

ANSWER: The diodes should be on the light output
if trying not to flip them on and off.

Hard to say why then. If it were aftermarket there would
be a flashing light output that might be on
the wrong wire. But on the OEM system, you'd need
to talk to the service dept. at Pontiac/GM as to what
would cause a surge on the headlight motor trigger.

Wish it could have been more.
