Car Alarms: I messed up, pink wire, starter wire

Question
I pulled the wires out on the button under the dash, now i cant get my ford van to start. I know you said, in a previous question, to remove the wire thats hooked to the starter in the steering column, but which wire is it? Is there any other way like maybe pulling the back up battery out? I have work tommorow. The alarm nevered worked before, wonder why it just decided to cut on? Please Help

Answer
Hmmm, ok, drop the under panel from the steering
column, locate the alarm, and on the white/pink wire
you will find a starter kill relay. Cut it off the white/pink wire
(in the ignition switch by the way!)
and attatch the 2 free white/pink wire
ends you have, together.

This puts the starter wire in working order now,
and the van should then start. After that, unplug
the alarm brain and replace. Tape off all exposed wires
and you're all set until you decide to complete
the removal.

Good luck,
