Car Alarms: remote, car alarm system, transmitter programming

i have a k9 car alarm system and my remote is not responding to the car if the alarm goes off i cant use the remote to stop it, i think the remote needs to be reprogrammed but i dont kow how to do it, is there anyone that can help me
