Car Alarms: 2002 Chevy Tahoe w/ Clifford Matrix 50.5X, clifford matrix, chevy tahoe

QUESTION: I own a 2002 Chevy Tahoe and just got 50.5X installed. i was wondering, is there a wire that i can tap into for the Factory Horn Honk(it had factory Keyless Entry), or do i have to do the Relay and the Flasher thing?

ANSWER: The Horn in this truck is black wire |-|
at the brown plug at BCM.
The BCM is located behind the drivers
side of the dash. The plug is on the BCM face,
towards the rear of the vehicle.

That's where you can catch
and use the horn.

QUESTION: Do i have to run a relay only,relay w/ flasher, or does that wire already have a realy inline?

Answer
The Clifford would have a (-) output for horn honk.
If not, see wiring a horn relay, using the
siren wire as a trigger, at www.relayhelp.com
and apply.
