Car Alarms: Starter Cutt Off, clifford alarm, chevy tahoe

Question
I have a clifford alarm on my Chevy Tahoe. I bought the truck used and it was already on it. The remotes I got are falling apart and I really do not use the alarm system anymore. Once in a while lately, I go to start my truck and nothing happens. It will not try to turn over and the clifford light blinks red. I discovered if I hit the top of my dashboard, I can then start the truck. Does this sound like a wire is loose on the alarm system? Do you recommend having it removed by a professional? Would that solve this problem? Thanks for your help.

Answer
Wrong place to ask. As it says on the site,
(that big button) I don't
supply support for DEI equipment or they're
clientel (past-present or future).
Too many people have been asking
for the service they should be providing,
I won't do they're job here any longer.

I refer these folks to either my forum
at www.installsupport.com or, I have a
guy at sales@tampacaralarms.com who might be able
to offer some insight. Good guy and he will treat
you right.

Sorry I could'nt be of more service.
