Car Alarms: 1997 DEI Vipere Alarm, toyota t100, auto reply

I bought a used 1997 toyota T100 I was given the alarm remote without instructions on using it. It has 4 buttons. Each button has a roman numeral I, II, III, IV. I have no Idea which button does what. Is there a manual or instructions somewhere that will tell me so I can use the alarm system?
